It is indeed a very safe country for everyone and it is also very convenient and easy to move around the country by public transportation or by car. Moreover, South Koreans are very welcoming and nice so they will easily come and talk to you. Communication might be difficult because of the language barrier but they will always find a way to exchange with you or help you. Travelling alone to South Korea will also help you to go out of your comfort zone and discover the local culture. Thus, you will live amazing experiences and bring back wonderful memories of this trip.

1. Do not be afraid

I know this may sound very dumb and useless but this is really important to consider. The first trip is the most difficult because everything is new and unknown but after one or two days everything will be more and more natural and there is no shame of travelling alone or go alone to a restaurant...

2. Be self-confident and trust yourself

When you travel alone, you will obviously go out of your comfort zone and try new things you would not normally do in your daily life. Thus, you will notice that you can do way more than what you would believe and you will be very proud of you afterwards, seeing what you accomplished.

3. Meet new people

Travelling alone, does not mean staying alone all the time, in fact you will be more likely to talk to people, other travelers or locals. This will help you again go out of your comfort zone, share your experiences and discover new things even if you do not speak the same language.

4. Change your perspective

When you travel alone, you will have more chance to experience immersive and authentic experiences, like sleeping in a homestay. You will thus learn more about life in other countries and change your own perspective of life as you will have different points of view on the subject.

6. Enjoy your freedom

You will be the only person making choices when your travel alone. You will thus have the total freedom on your itinerary, your plans, your timings... Your trips do not depend on anyone and you are the only one to make it incredible according to what you like.
